This large-scale project, located on Chemin du Barrage in Disraeli, is an excellent example of the harmonious integration of our products with modern, lakeside farmhouse architecture. The objective was twofold: to secure the main entrance staircase and the lower terrace, while maximizing access to the panoramic view.

Project features

• Vedette product (Terrace): Murano railing (with glass) in black aluminum: For the lower covered terrace, Murano railing sections with clear glass panels were favored to clear the view of the lake. The glass creates a discreet barrier that protects while preserving the outdoor environment.

• Integration of materials: The black color of the railing contrasts with the light-colored masonry stone and the wood of the beams, emphasizing the architectural lines of the residence.

• Durability in lakeside environments: Aluminum is the ideal material for wet environments. Its resistance to rust and ease of maintenance ensure the railing’s beauty and safety for years to come, even near water.

• Versatility of the Murano model: This project demonstrates the flexibility of the Murano range, which can be installed on both concrete staircases and terraces, with different infills (barrotins and glass) for a variety of needs.

Results

The property benefits from seamless exterior security, from the entrance staircase to the lakeside terrace. The strategic use of two types of Murano infill has optimized security at critical points (staircase) while freeing up the view where it’s most spectacular (terrace). The result is a façade that is elegant, cohesive and perfectly adapted to its environment.
