This project, located on Rue Guertin in Disraeli, showcases the integration of a safety railing on a natural wood exterior staircase. The staircase led to a raised terrace, requiring a railing solution that was both safe and solid, and complemented the warm, rustic look of the wood. The Murano railing was selected for its durability and ability to modernize the staircase while offering reliable protection.

• Featured product: Murano 2020 banister in black aluminum: The matte black of the posts and handrails creates an elegant contrast with the warm wood tone of the staircase, emphasizing every line of the structure.

• Clear Glass infill: The choice of glass panels is crucial for this project. It ensures safety along the incline of the staircase while maintaining maximum visibility of the outside environment, preserving the connection with nature.

• Staircase safety and ergonomics: The handrail is installed at a constant incline, providing stable, ergonomic support for ascent and descent. The posts are firmly attached to the steps.

• Natural integration: The design perfectly matches the exterior style, from wood cladding to flagstone landscaping, blending modern materials (aluminum and glass) with natural ones (wood).

• Weather resistance: Aluminum is ideal for permanent outdoor structures, guaranteeing that the railing will remain impeccable and safe despite humidity and temperature variations.

Results

The staircase on Rue Guertin is now not only perfectly safe thanks to the Murano handrail, but also enhanced with a modern touch. The combination of contemporary black and warm wood creates a welcoming and durable exterior entrance, enhancing both the functionality and aesthetics of the property.
