Rue Champagnat
Project presentation
This project, located on Rue Champagnat in Disraeli, is a superb modern chalet characterized by dark-colored cladding. The exterior design included a raised balcony and a covered lower terrace. The aim was to secure the upper floor while preserving the contemporary style and providing plenty of natural light. Our Murano railing (model 2020) in black was selected for its straight lines and ability to blend harmoniously with the black aluminum structure.
Project features
-
Featured product: Murano banister in black aluminum: The Murano railing is distinguished by its slim, elegant lines. The choice of black color lends visual continuity to the structural beams, columns and balcony soffit.
-
Tempered Glass Panels: Clear glass was used to maximize openness and views from the balcony, while serving as an effective windbreak. Its simple installation and ease of maintenance are a major asset for a cottage.
-
Integration and Visual Consistency: The railing and supporting posts are of the same color and material (black aluminum), creating a coherent, solid and very modern exterior structure. The design harmonizes perfectly with the house’s black window frames and dark siding.
-
Handrail with handrail: Unlike the Contemporary style, which uses clamps, the Murano railing incorporates a top and bottom handrail for elegant framing and added strength, perfect for intensive cottage use.
-
Safety for elevated balconies: Installing this ramp on a second-level balcony guarantees the safety of occupants, without compromising the desired sleek aesthetic.
Results
The Murano railing has secured and embellished the outdoor space. The upper balcony and lower terrace now form a unified, sophisticated architectural whole, offering two distinct living spaces – a bright, airy balcony, and an intimate, covered terrace – both enhanced by the quality of our aluminum and glass products.
