Located on Chemin Auclair in Adstock, the aim of this project was to equip a large raised balcony of a very contemporary residence, offering a magnificent view of the lake. The challenge was to create a safety railing that would harmonize with the house’s clean lines (white façade, gray stone, dark wood accents) without obstructing the view. Our Contemporary railing in black with glass panels was the perfect choice to complement this lakeside aesthetic.

Project features

• Featured product: Contemporary railing in glass and black aluminum : The black color of the posts provides a strong graphic contrast, recalling the window frames and architectural elements of the house. The minimalist style of the square posts blends perfectly with the modern design.

• Maximum security and transparency: the use of large panels of clear glass offers protection without compromising the unobstructed view of the lake and forest, transforming the balcony into a veritable observation lodge.

• Architectural integration: The design matches the exterior materials – the black of the railing emphasizes the edge of the balcony, the transparency of the glass lightens the structure, and the whole reflects the light and colors of the environment.

• Elevated terrace installation: The ramp secures the entire perimeter of the balcony, creating a large, safe outdoor living space, with a covered area below.

• Durable materials: Sturdy aluminum and tempered glass are designed to withstand the weathering typical of lakeside environments, guaranteeing longevity and minimal maintenance.

Results

The Contemporary railing in black has defined a chic and safe outdoor space. The effect of the glass railing is to visually extend the interior into the landscape, making the balcony a natural and sophisticated extension of the residence. The project is a successful example of the perfect balance between modern aesthetics, safety and respect for the natural site.
