Project presentation

In the countryside of Centre-du-Québec, residential architecture is often characterized by its integration into the agricultural landscape: single-story or multi-story homes, clapboard siding, and earthy color palettes. For this property on Rang des Seigneurs in Sainte-Hélène-de-Bagot, a clay ramp from the 4000 series was the obvious choice.

The clay shade, halfway between beige and taupe, blends discreetly into the neutral tones of the facade while adding a touch of warmth that makes all the difference. The 4000 model, the top-of-the-line series from Aluminium Distinction, was chosen for its more architectural lines and premium construction.

This rural project demonstrates that Aluminium Distinction meets the needs of homeowners in the countryside just as well as those in the suburbs and cities.

Project features

A natural, versatile clay shade

Clay is one of the most versatile shades in the 4000 series. It complements natural wood, light-colored brick, fiber-cement siding, and off-white vinyl facades. In a rural setting like Sainte-Hélène-de-Bagot, it blends naturally into the landscape’s color palette.

4000 Series — Aluminium Distinction’s premium line

The 4000 Series represents the pinnacle of Aluminium Distinction’s expertise: thicker profiles, a premium finish, and reinforced joints. It is designed for demanding projects where durability and aesthetics must coexist at the highest level, even in rural settings.

Sturdy structure for large spaces

Rural homes often feature wider entrances and staircases that are more exposed to the elements. The 4000 Series is engineered to withstand these stresses without bending, providing exceptional rigidity and stability regardless of the staircase’s configuration.

Resistance in the agricultural sector

Rural environments present their own challenges: dust, humidity, and significant temperature fluctuations. The powder-coated aluminum in the 4000 series is designed to maintain its structural and aesthetic integrity under these conditions, without requiring any special maintenance.

Made in Quebec, installed locally

Each Aluminium Distinction handrail is manufactured at the company’s Quebec workshops and installed by professionals trained to the brand’s standards. This short supply chain ensures high-quality service from start to finish, from design through final installation.
