Project presentation

Choosing an outdoor stair railing often involves striking a balance between durability, aesthetics, and ease of maintenance. This homeowner in Mercier was looking for a durable solution that would blend naturally into the entrance to his home without requiring any special care from one season to the next.

The Heritage 3560 model, made of black powder-coated aluminum, was selected for its sleek design and proven durability. With its well-spaced vertical balusters and contoured handrail, this model offers a perfect balance between classic and modern styles, making it ideal for homes in the Montérégie region.

This project, completed along Route 138 in Mercier, showcases Aluminium Distinction’s expertise in the manufacture and installation of high-quality outdoor aluminum railings.

Project features

Profile 3560 with a refined architectural design

The Heritage 3560 model stands out for its T-shaped profile and balanced proportions, which give the railing a distinctive architectural look. It blends elegantly with a wide variety of residential styles, from traditional homes to Contemporary designs.

High-strength black powder coating

The black powder-coated finish, applied in an oven, ensures maximum adhesion of the coating to the aluminum. This industrial process provides superior resistance to UV rays, temperature fluctuations, and humidity, preserving the railing’s impeccable appearance for many years.

Maintenance-free extruded aluminum

Unlike wrought iron or wood, the extruded aluminum used by Aluminium Distinction does not corrode and requires no painting or regular treatment. It is the ideal solution for homeowners who want to enjoy a beautiful railing without the hassle of seasonal maintenance.

Secure anchoring and professional installation

Each ramp is securely anchored to the existing structure in accordance with best practices. The anchoring system complies with the requirements of the Quebec Building Code and ensures optimal stability in both summer and winter, even during icy or high-wind conditions.

Results

Since its installation, this black powder-coated aluminum ramp has transformed the entrance to this Mercier residence into a stylish and secure welcoming space. The visual impact is immediate: the clean, well-defined lines of the Heritage 3560 elevate the overall appearance of the facade.

Aluminium Distinction presents a project that embodies its core values: made in Quebec, high-quality materials, and flawless installation. An outdoor aluminum railing that will last for generations.
