Project presentation

When it comes to enhancing the entrance to a luxurious property, the choice of railing makes all the difference. This homeowner in Mont-Saint-Hilaire wanted a solution that combined character, durability, and harmony with the architectural charm of his home, nestled near Lake Hertel.

The Heritage 3560 model, made of black walnut-colored powder-coated aluminum, was selected for this project. Its T-shaped profile and balusters inlaid with walnut wood give it a warm and distinctive look, perfectly in keeping with the waterfront properties lining this sought-after area of the Montérégie region.

The installation includes a complete outdoor stair ramp with a built-in handrail, designed to last for decades without requiring maintenance or replacement.

Project features

Inlays of genuine walnut wood

The balusters of the Heritage 3560 model feature genuine walnut inlays that lend warmth and sophistication to the overall design. This combination of powder-coated aluminum and natural wood creates a striking visual effect, ideal for luxury properties.

Black powder coating with a matte finish

The factory-applied black powder-coated finish ensures exceptional resistance to Quebec’s weather conditions. With no chipping or fading, the railing retains its elegance season after season, even in exposed environments such as lakeside areas.

Maintenance-free aluminum frame

High-quality extruded aluminum does not rust, rot, or require any annual maintenance. Once installed, this outdoor aluminum railing remains as beautiful as the day it was installed, without the need for repainting or treatment.

Integrated ergonomic handrail

The handrail on the 3560 model is designed for a comfortable and secure grip. Its rounded profile makes it easy for both children and seniors to hold onto, making access to the entrance both safe and pleasant.

Compliance with Building Codes

Each component of the railing is manufactured and installed in accordance with the requirements of the Quebec National Building Code. The spacing of the balusters, the height of the handrail, and the strength of the anchors meet the strictest standards for residential safety.

Results

Since the installation of this Heritage 3560 Black Walnut ramp, the main entrance to this residence in Mont-Saint-Hilaire has become one of the neighborhood’s most striking architectural features. The combination of deep black and natural walnut creates an elegant contrast that instantly enhances the building’s appearance.

This project perfectly illustrates Aluminium Distinction’s philosophy: to offer products made in Quebec without compromising on quality or style. An ornamental aluminum railing that makes a striking first impression and stands the test of time.
